Do you think that Hilary Clinton can become president? There are already too many negative views about this even now but I think that she would be better than another George Bush.

Would you vote for Hilary Clinton?

I don't know, in the last few elections I have seen too much to make anymore predictions. Now that the Iowa caucus is right around the corner and polls are being taken almost daily Hillary is shown as falling behind the two candidates she has led for months. Anything is possible.

John Edwards is my first choice to become the Democratic candidate. I would happily vote for Hilary, though, or any of the other candidates. We have a fine field of candidates, I believe. I believe Hilary can win, among other reasons, because she is a fearless and consummate campaigner. I saw her speak a number of years ago, when she was First Lady, and she electrified the entire hall.

I think she certainly has a good chance of getting the nomination. Also a pretty good chance she'll win the general elections.

The only issue I have with Hillary Clintion is that she is a woman. Now don't get me wrong, I would love to see us have a woman president. My only concern is in regard to how other countries would view a female leader. I know in some countries, particularly in the Middle East, women do not hold positions of power. Would the leaders of such countries respect her authority or listen to what she has to say?

I worked in the registrar's office when I was in college, and quite often international students would come in and want to add a class when the semester was nearly over. When they were told this wasn't possible by my supervisors (both women), they would argue until a man told them the same thing. I could see how they had no respect for what the women had to say, and wonder if the same thing would happen if Hillary (or any woman) was elected President.

I like Hillary, and I do think she is perfectly capable of performing the duties of a president. But, I'm not in complete agreement with some of her political views. I personally will endorse Barack Obama for president come Novemeber, but, if Hillary were to win I would not be disappointed. I'm just happy GB2's reign of terror and idiocy is finally coming to an end!!
