Age difference doesn't matter to me. It's more about what you have in common. Most likely if the age difference is too great, you won't like the same things and the relationship won't work. However, I think society has placed the assumption that a woman is only dating a man for his money if he is much older, or vice versa.

Age isn't that big of a factor for me, but society on the whole still places certain taboos on dating outside of one's generation. The only time I wonder about these types of relationships is when:

1) Someone in their late 20's or 30's dates a teenager. (Just kind of strange, maybe someone needs to let go of the past and grow up?)
or
2) When a young woman dates/marries a man who has taken up residence in heaven's waiting room. (Honestly, how can there not be ulterior motives involved?)

LOL - are you talking about some man with one foot in the grave and a beauty on his arm? Unfortunately, way too often, there are ulterior motives. We've probably all seen the same scene, one time or another.
Gold-diggers come in both sexes too. I've seen men slobbering over a woman thought to have a bundle willed to her cats.
Heaven's waiting room - first time I've heard that one. Good one!

LOL. Yep, that's exactly what I was referring to. But you are correct, there are men who do the exact same thing.

LOL. "Heaven's waiting room", that is a good one.

I don't think it makes much a difference, but in some cases as Sublime mentioned I would have to question the person's motives.

Hmm, can I trade my fifty-year old for two twenty-fives? And yes, there could be an ulterior motive going on here. LOL
Just kidding. I don't have that kind of energy anymore.
