There is a new, dangerous trend being propagated by the girlie men
in the media, one you need to be aware.

It's an attempt to reframe what "manliness" is all about, twisting
it into well, being a girlie man.

The talk about men being empowered by learning to do dishes.  And
be sweet and sensitive.  And dutifully submit to all the women in
their lives.

They say being interested in hot, sexy women is "immature."  They
say wanting to drink the finest liquor is "Neanderthal."  They say
watching football is for "the uneducated."

They say that wanting to get in good shape and get six pack abs is
juvenile.  And that dating more than one woman is insensitive.  And
that real men have long, deep, sensitive conversations exploring
their feelings.

They know they can't do any of these things.  They know women
actually like men who do these things.  And since misery loves
company, they want you to join them.

They want you to read their pathetic sniveling blogs.  And read
their pink, perfumed magazines.  And watch their independent tv
shows.

What should you do?

Kick sand in their face and tell them to step off. What has always
made a man real, still does and always will.

A real man doesn't need to be "empowered" by others.  He empowers
himself, something the girlie men will never do.

So let them post to their powderpuff blogs and facebook pages, and
whine, and snivel, and pine... while you spend your time with real
women who like real men.
