My "Queen Of Soul" diva ARETHA FRANKLIN had a nasty fall on Sunday that broke her ribs. Sadly, she can't perform at CHARLES RANGEL'S 80th Brithday Party at the New York Plaza Hotel or doing two Brooklyn concerts (one of shich where I was going to take to "Q" train to Ocean Parkway in the Asser Levy Park next Thursday to see my sista Franks.) Speaking of 'franks' she was looking forward to having a foot-long hot dog in Coney Island, MMMM!!! That so mighty tasty!! Brooklyn Borough President MARTY MARKOWITZ hopes Aretha will reschedule to come to Brooklyn soon.
Tonight keeps you ears open and television tuned because remember when I told you last week about WYCLEF JEAN will make his announcement about his bid to become President of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Haiti had a terrible earthquake in January, and his reasons for running is education, job creation, and getting back Haiti's agriculture. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!!
JAMES VAN DER BEEK who we all remember from "DAWSONS CREEK" got married again...but this time to KIMBERLY BROOK last Sunday. But the marriage isn't the only thing they are celebrating because in the fall they are expecting a baby girl.
No surprise that LADY GAGA became one of the most "Best-Dressed celebrity in the world named by "VANITY FAIR" because of her bizaare but most fascinating fashions. Other names included: FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA, filmaker MARTIN SCORSESE, DAVID BECKHAM, and Frances' First Lady CARLA BRUNI.
JANE LYNCH and her wife DR. LARA EMBRY along with 100 screaming fans got a full-eye view of Jane's GLEE'S character Sue Sylvester wax figure at MADAME TUSSAUDS in Hollywood yesterday morning. Jane was grateful even thought the wax figure took over four hours to create.
