So what was your first date like? What did you end up doing? Was it fun or awkward? My first date we went to a steak house and I choked on my steak. Someone in the restaurant had to give me the hemlich and the piece of meat flew out and onto my dates lap. I was so embarassed after it was all said and done.

My first date with my parter was awfull i thought he was arrogant and cocky and not my type at all! But after the drinks got flowing I found myself laughing along with his jokes and witty humour and 3 years on were still together! And im pleased to say we get on better when sober!

I've had a worst first date all right. A casual friend of mine invited me to a party that was located out in the boonies. It was nothing more than a bunch of people getting together with a few takes a beer. I went and I enjoyed myself in about three hours afterwards I asked for a ride home. That's when he gave me the ultimatum, put out or get out. I walk to the nearest phone and called for a ride. I never spoke to him again.:angry:

What a jerk!
I have had a guy do that to me as well, he got a little too buzzed and was insistant on us going to his place right away. I wouldn't and I left, was no way that was going to happen.

Wow, it sounds like some of you have had some really interesting first dates. I can't say that I've ever had anything too eventful happen on a first date. I think they have all been dinner and a movie. Not anything too original! While the dates were all okay, none of them stand out as being really bad or really good. They were just okay.

I had an awful first date and didn't realize it was a first date till I was on it. I think it crosses over into the employee harrassment area, which wasn't in existence way back when this happened. I had taken on a job selling door-to-door, you know the drill. Buy the package of goods, with brochures and order forms and away you go. Me, I was always enthusiastic about anything I took on. This was a line of cleaning products. So the guy that signed me up made an appointment to get together for talking about tips for increasing sales. He picked me up and we headed to town, only he drove to the local drive-in theatre. I was like... "What's with this? I thought we had a meeting? Then he tried to kiss me. Ugh! I was out of the car, walked to the nearest gas station and phoned my husband to come get me. I never sold a thing after that. I was done. Also never had to buy cleaning products for a very long time. Now, he was a first-class jerk!
