Hey all, what is your opinion on this polygamist group that got taken down in Texas? I am just horrified that this type of thing still goes on in todays' society. How can women get sucked into that kind of situation? I realize once they are in it, they have an almost impossible time getting out. It is breaking my heart to hear about all the children being taken from their mothers. That must just be killing both mothers and the little ones.

I was shocked that such a thing still existed in the United States. I can't see how one individual can suck so many women in. I feel so sorry for the mothers, and especially the children. They didn't do anything wrong, and now they are separated from their mothers.

Did anyone see the show that Oprah did on Polygamy! It was a different view on them. She did some information about a cult that was simliar to what was in Texas and then just a middle income family where a guy had three wives. Two of the wives were sisters. It was really interesting.
