I'll tell you, the college days are the time to let your hair down and have some fun. Soon enough the adult world of job, responsibilities and family come along. It's much better if they come along and you have no regrets about not having enjoyed those younger years, not having looked around and seen what's out there.
I know it had to be painful, but one person can't hold a relationship together, both people have to want to do that. I'm glad it was a good experience in the end.
