The best revenge is living well

Hey Guys--

Awhile a friend mind told me a story all men should hear.  What
happened was this:  she went out with a guy for a few months, and
even wound up living with him.  It was good at first, but as often
happens it just didn't work out.

Forget the where or why, that doesn't matter.  They broke up, she
moved out, they saw each other sporadically, then they lost
contact.  It wasn't an amicable breakup, but it wasn't a knock down
drag out either.  It just didn't work out.

About a year after her breakup, she's sitting at home, and gets a
text message--a picture mail, in this case.  She opens it up, and
it's a picture of a female hand with a  ring on it, and the sender
is her ex.

The message is this:  "if you'd just been nicer, this could have
been you."

Fellas, that's something that goes by the name "Charlie Sierra,"
CS, or Chicken Shit for you civilian types.  It's mean, it's petty,
and it's just plain low rent.  I cannot think of anything smaller
minded than that.

Lookit, women are conditioned by birth to think they are not
validated until they get a ring.  Right or wrong, this is their
reality.  Yes, many of them realize on a logical level this is
social programming and BS, but the emotional connection is still
there--and to hit a woman in that spot is a low blow.

There is no purpose whatsoever for it.  If this guy didn't have an
enemy before, he does now.  And if he's going to do one small
minded thing, he's got a whole bagful of tricks for his new bride
to be.

That kind of behavior is reserved for men who will never amount to
anything and who know it. Forget the fact they have 24 hours in the
day to succeed like all of us do--for whatever reason they feel they
are miserable failures inside and set out to make other people feel
the same way.

So, don't you dare engage in this kind of behavior.  If you're
pissed at someone, never forget the best revenge is living well...
they'll know about it without you telling them.
And secondly, if you have any friends who act like this, get rid of
them immediately.  They have no lasting value to your life
whatsoever.  No man who aspires to think big should have people
committed to staying small around them.

After all, the worst smell in the world is smell of chickenshit...
the best is the smell of success.  And the two of them never, ever
go together.
