The answer is a primal one:  it's a test for authority.  Oftentimes
women don't know why they start a fight with a man they really
like, and on one level they really don't want to.  Heck, they'll
even say, "I don't know why I start fights with guys."

Whether they want to start fights or not is irrelevant,
however--it's a biological program for women to see if they're with
a strong man and they cannot resist it any more than you can resist
breathing.

So, what you should you do when she tries to start a fight?

The answer is simple, really--use it as an opportunity to show that
she made a good decision by being with you, and that yes, you are a
man of authority.

The most important thing, of course, is not to engage with
her--that's what weak men who cannot control their behavior do.
What strong men do is acknowledge the behavior for what it is, then
quickly defuse it.

Best way I've ever found to defuse it is to simply look her in the
eye with your best naughty boy smirk and say, "Hmmm, you need a
spanking, don't you?"  It has to be said with an even mixture of
firmness and humor, but when you do it right, the effect is
immediate.

All of a sudden she no longer wants to fight, and more often than
not she'll laugh in spite of herself, and that will be that.

After all, she's just proven to herself once again she made a good
choice to be with you, that you still have the authority that
attracted her in the first place, and that you haven't gotten weak.

How long will this last?  Oh, a few days, maybe.  And then she'll
want to make sure you haven't gotten week in the interim and she'll
try to start another fight again.

No big deal.  Just follow the same procedure, rinse, wash and
repeat and you'll both be happy.
