Keep working towards your final goal.
Hey Guys--
Yesterday the Dallas Cowboys finally got off their butts and played a pretty decent football game, walking out of Houston with a much needed victory.
Did that turn their season around, putting them squarely on track for the Superbowl?
*****Advertisement***** Do you HATE rejection by women? Imagine a life of no heartbreak or misery, only fun and joy with the women YOU choose to have in your life on your terms. Of course not. The coaching and discipline issues that have plagued them still exist, and all it means is that they're 1-2 instead of 0-3. In other words, time to get back to work--better to be 1-2 certainly, but lose the next game and you're 1-3. They've got to keep an even keel.
Same thing applies to attraction--too many men celebrate a "victory" thinking it guarantees them future success and wind up shocked when it doesn't.
Getting too excited about a small step in attraction is just as bad as being devastated over a setback. All both of them mean is that you have to go back to work.
Many, many guys have something good happen with a woman... they get a phone... or a date... and they think they can relax, and that things will automatically work out because she "likes you." But it doesn't work that way.
If you get too caught up in the excitement of a small victory, and fail to pay attention to the next step, you'll suddenly be wondering why your calls are unreturned and that promised second date doesn't materialize. You have got to stay focused.
Remember, you have an ultimate goal when it comes to women (different for each man), and you succeed when you achieve that goal. Getting too excited about small steps on the path to that goal can actually derail you.
So, keep an even keel when it comes to attraction. Don't get overly excited about a victory, or concerned about a setback. Just keep working towards your final goal.
It is, after all, a long season.
On with the fun,
