Hey Guys,
Ever watch the show "Who the Bleep Did I Marry?" It's a great show, worth watching by any man interested in attraction.
It's a show about people who got married believing one thing about the person, only to find out they're really someone much different.
*****Advertisement***** What if everything you ever thought you knew about dating and relationships was just plain wrong? Would you keep doing the same things and getting the same results? Or would you try something new and radically different? To stop dating, and start living, go to http://elitematelove.com before this site is removed. **********************
The show usually tells the story of a woman who got married quickly to a man she met who said and did all the right things at the right time. Then, once he's married, he uses her, abusing her trust and feelings for her.
The episode I watched the other night involved a cad who was married to 7 women at the same time, getting each one to pay his bills while he was living with the others.
It's a classic case of if you're going to lie, lie big, and did this guy ever tell some whoppers. He claimed he was in the Navy (he had been, sadly, many years prior), and that he had to leave for deployment in Iraq.
He would call his wives late at night when they were asleep, pretending he was calling them from a combat zone so he couldn't sleep long. They'd continue to pay his bills while he was living with another one.
Now, his MO to get them in the first place bears studying. He would target previously divorced, unattractive women who were at a low point. He'd swoop into their lives, and tell them the things they desperately wanted to hear. In short order, he'd propose, and they'd marry him. And then he'd start to take advantage of them.
This guy was, obviously, a royal turd--and he did get busted for bigamy in Oregon, and served a whopping 10 days in jail (my opinion is he should have been ruled clinically insane for marrying 7 women in the first place, but that's neither here nor there).
But what was most interesting was what all the women said in their exit interviews: "I got married to him because I loved him." That feeling of "love" this guy discovered he could create in women in short order completely blinded them to the obvious reality that this guy was a turd.
Moreover, they hung on so long, even when confronted with overwhelming evidence because they just didn't want to believe the unthinkable...and it cost them.
The lesson here, for all you good guys, is this: be very careful what you say to a woman who's attracted to you. When you say things in the moment you don't really mean in the long term, it can create deep and powerful feelings that bring on the heartbreak when forever really meant "a few days."
If you want fun in the moment, plenty of women are up for that. If you want a lasting relationship, best to let it grow slowly over time so you have a strong foundation, and you both know who each other really are. There will be plenty of time for the "I love you's" then...and you'll both know they're real.

EliteMate is something different that I have been part of and I am glad I received an email inviting me to join. The best thing about this site is that we get to meet new people and even find someone for me or anyone else. I have enjoyed every second as a member of EliteMate and it's really cool.
