Man oh man is there a great "must watch" new show on the History
Channel. It's called "Scammed," and if you want to see how con men
get very smart people to fork over their money, you have got to
watch this show.
It's a reality show, and what the host does is run cons on real,
live people, then returns the money and puts them on tv.

It's great for several reasons. First off, he talks about common
scams and classic scams, so you'll be aware of them and you can
avoid them.
Even better, he demonstrates via hidden camera on unsuspecting
people, making the scam all the better.
Where you will learn the most, however, is from watching how the
victims fall prey to the con man bit by bit.
Every man interested in influence and persuasion should study con
men, because they are masters at their craft, sadly using
legitimate tools of influence for nefarious deeds.
What's even more interesting is watching the emotional states of
the victims as they are pulled deeper and deeper into the con.
Many of them have a little con in themselves because they want to
get something for nothing, and jump at the chance to do so.
Some victims are taken advantage of because they are simply too
trusting, something I warn about over and over. Yes, they are out
to get you, and it's hard to spot who "they" are until it's too
late.
In one sense, attraction IS all about influence and persuasion, and
if you want to be a truly attractive man, you must study it. But
it's one thing to read about it, and quite another to witness it in
action.
I've been in business a long time, heard and seen a lot of
nonsense, and I'm familiar with a lot of scams and scam artists
(Count von Lustwig, and Andrew "Yellow Kid" Weil are two of the
most notorious). But watching a professional operate, it struck me
that I might be taken in by a skilled con man, especially one
willing to go great lengths.
Luckily, I watched the show...and you should too. You will learn
much.
