planning on camping out for two months on Wall Street and
protesting.
What are they protesting? Well, they don't yet know, because they
haven't decided on it. All they know is they are "protesting."

Some say they are protesting the economy which to me is rather
amusing because I fail to see how protesting produces an iota of
economic activity. Work? Yes. Creating value? Yes. Running a
business? Yes. Protesting? No.
This is yet another example of what people in this country are
starting to want more and more: unearned achievement. Much easier
to make a fuss to conceal the fact they can't or won't produce than
to do the hard work of actually producing.
They confuse activity with accomplishment, yet wonder why they are
still broke, and still poor. The answer is, of course, very
simple: they are broke because of how they use their time.
We all have 24 hours in the day, from the richest man in the world
to the poorest man. The outcomes we get (in the US) are dependent
on how we use our time, plain and simple.
While these nitwits are protesting, for example, I am spending my
weekend writing this email, several others, reviewing business
strategy, making phone calls and other things that lead to economic
gain...on a weekend.
Why? Because I don't want to be broke like these clowns. I have
only 48 hours this weekend, and I need to use some of them to
create value so I continue to prosper. Yes, I prefer prosperity to
protest, and that forces me to choose a certain course of action
that leads to my results.
If you want to be successful, you need to do two important things:
1) Embrace EARNED achievement and all the WORK that goes into it 2)
Be very clear on what is activity and what is accomplishment, and
never confuse the two.
By next week, these clowns will have returned to wherever they came
from, thinking they accomplished something. They did not. And
they never will.
