While I was watching a very entertaining opening day NFL game, I
noticed something during the commercials.
It wasn't just one commercial it was two or three different ones,
all covertly sending the same message.

In one commercial for McDonald's, the poor sap eating a McDonald's
breakfast puckers up and kisses his girlfriend's butt, agreeing
with her that a man who says Sundays are for football is a jerk.
In one commercial for a new cop show featuring another
"grrrrrrrrrrrl" the female cop threatens a cabbie for smoking with
a badge and gun, and he puckers up and kisses her ass.
Over and over and over, the message in the media is clear: if
you're a man you should kiss her ass like there's no tomorrow.
Obviously attraction doesn't work that way, and brownnosers are
quickly sent packing, told to find someone else's ass to kiss.
Women don't want apple-polishers, they want men who lead, men who
act like men, and men who won't be someone who they're not just to
please them.
But these messages are insidious because they are covert and
repetitive. They condition men to take on such behaviors because
men see this from the moment they're born. They think it's how
they're supposed to act, and are floored when it doesn't work like
it does on tv.
The message from the girlie men in the media is to, well, be a
girlie man like them. And any good girlie man knows that the #1
thing a true girlie man does is kiss ass like there's no tomorrow.
That's all well and good for them since they're never going to
find, attract, and keep a woman anyways. But it's not for you.
Don't kiss anyone's ass or supplicate to them so they'll like you.
They won't. Moreover, make it a point to actively be on the
lookout for any and all messages in the media that advise you to
act like a girlie man.
When you notice one, turn it off immediately. That conditions your
mind to filtering them out, preventing you from even accidentally
doing something the girlie men would approve of.
