Here it is: we all have 24 hours in the day. The dead butt broke
bum living in a box has 24 hours, and the richest man in the world
has 24 hours. No one has more, no one has less.
Your outcomes in life are determined by how you use those 24 hours,
and it's no mystery what usage leads to what outcomes.
The man or woman who bemoans the fact that others have more money,
better relationships, better health while he or she lives for happy
hour, watches tv, and slacks off at whatever job they have is not
going to get results from their usage. Or, rather, they'll get
unsatisfactory results.
The man or woman who uses those hours well, who spends them at the
library reading and studying while others are at the bar, who goes
to an event taught by those who have succeeded instead of going on
another vegas vacation will, in the end succeed.
That success is certainly not guaranteed, and here's another thing
that's unreported: it will not be painless. In fact, it will be
painful because of what you have to give up, and what you have to
deal with to stay successful.
All success, whether financial or relationshipwise comes from
giving value to others and asking for appropriate compensation in
return, and at times that is a gigantic pain in the ass.
It can be emotionally traumatic, it can lead to constant rejection,
and does lead to ongoing frustration--after all, nothing ever goes
right 100% of the time, and the more you do to succeed, the more
will naturally go wrong.
So, don't envy what others have and seek to take it away from them.
Instead, study carefully what they've done to get it, and emulate
it. The final secret the girlie men don't want you to know is
this: the success club welcomes those who wish to seek and are
willing to do what it takes.
Sadly, most people are not...easier to spend their 24 hours jumping
up and down in the street, smoking dope, drinking beer and avoiding
the hard, nasty, dirty job of giving value to others and asking for
compensation in return.
