I'm curious as to what you ladies think. Do you find facial hair on a man attractive, or not so much? Also, what specifically is more attractive, or unattractive? (Beard, goatee, mustache, etc.) I know opinions will vary widely depending on the individual, but I'm just wondering what this particular group thinks.

Hey Marley Man, I think most facial hair on a man is SEXY. I like the full beard or the trimmed one, complete with mustache. I even like the rugged 'haven't shaved in two days' look. No, I REALLY like that look. I am not so fond of the Fu Manchu look, or those that leave a dot of hair in the chin dimple. (What's with the hair dot thing?) I also don't care much for the mutton-chop sideburn look, or the Hitler look.
I also think it's very creative of men who try different things with facial hair. I know shaping while shaving is more time consuming and takes effort.
Just my opinion.

It depends on the facial hair. I don't like overgrown, ungroomed facial hair. But if done tastefully, facial hair can be quite attractive. Like Bikerhen, I particularly find the rugged, 'haven't shaved in several days' look quite sexy.
As far as goatee, beard, or mustache, it doesn't really matter in my opinion. As long as the man keeps it groomed nice, it can be very attractive. I also agree with Bikerhen in regard to the 'hair dot', mutton-chop, and Fu Manchu: all looks that I do not find attractive.

I have to be different I guess. I like a man that's clean shaven. Facial hair, specially the long, unruly kind, really looks wild and primitive to me. It makes me feel intimidated. I know that sounds dumb, it's just hair.

I typically prefer a clean shaven man. I once knew met an older gentleman who had a lot of facial hair, and it was rather unattractive. He had a mustache and beard, which was probaby 8 inches long. It was white, except for the part around his mouth, which was yellow. My guess was from the nicotine in the two packs of cigarettes he smoked every day. Definitely not very attractive!
