Before I start with the dirt on "THE GOLDEN GLOBES", I found out some "BIG" news about REGIS PHILBIN: After 28 years on "LIVE WITH REGIS & KATHIE LEE" & "LIVE WITH REGIS & KELLY", he's decided to leave the show this summer. Regis who will be 80 in August called his years the biggest thrill of his life and said everything must come to an end for people on camera, especially certain old people. KELLY RIPA his current co-host for 10 years said of what a pleasure and dream come true to work with Regis and said she wished she could do something to change his mind. Now the question is who will take Regis place even though he's irreplaceable.
Now let's get to the juicy stuff about the Golden Globes. Let's start with the host British comedian RICKY GERVAIS. Ricky was making jokes about CHER'S age, ROBERT DOWNEY JR. drug addiction, to even the sexuality of certain Scientologists (you think he was pointing to Cruise or Travolta??) But even though everyone took the jabs well, its very uncertain that Ricky may be asked to return to the 2012 Golden Globe Awards.
Could there be a little "something-something" going on with "COUNTRY STRONG" co-stars GARRETT HEDLUND & ("Gossip Girl's") LEIGHTON MEESTER have a romance on the movie on-screen, but it looks like its real-life, off-screen too. They were inseparable the entire night at the HBO's after-party for the Golden Globes. Personally, I think they make a cute couple.
MISS JENNIFER LOPEZ came seriously "diva-licious" for the Globes, she showed up on the red carpet wearing HARRY WINSTON diamonds totaling $5 Million Dollars. My girl looked on point.
Talk about "surprising" baby news, NICOLE KIDMAN & KEITH URBAN became parents to baby #2 on December 28th, and "no" Nicole wasn't pregnant but it was through via surrogate. The baby girl was born in Nashville and Nicole & Keith kept the news "hush-hush" to fans and the media.
Lastly, is there a reconciliation happening with CHARLIE SHEEN and BROOKE MUELLER??? Well Brooke's mother MOIRA FIORE certainly hopes so because Moira said they've been constantly talking about and are trying to reconcile. Brooke has twin sons with Charlie and even he admitted since he and Brooke broke up that things haven't gone well for him. Brooke honey, the man goes on alcohol-fueled rants (you would know that better than anyone) and has orgies with hookers, "RUN AWAY BROOKE AND NEVER LOOK BACK!!!"
