As you shouldn't be surprised whose now leaving "AMERICAN IDOL", "NICKI MINAJ and MARIAH CAREY". The ladies made headlines from their famous catty bickering over the contestants and now they are both focusing on their music especially Mariah whose is preparing for next month's Macy's 4th of July fireworks spectacular. So now the only judge left in "Idol" is KEITH URBAN.
LEE ANN RIMES and EDDIE CIBRIAN are going to do a reality show. They said that they will take things from their lives, elaborate them and make them funny, people have been laughing at them ("gee, wonder why??") now they want them to laugh with them. Tomorrow Lee Ann will have her new album out called, "SPITFIRE".
"PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN" just completed rehab 13 days ago because he took prescription pills which then lead to snorting heroin. What's so funny until last year Philip had been sober for over 23 years but he thanks his friends and family for getting him help. Philip in November will be seen in "HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE".
You know I never though I would go there telling this story but what the hell. RIHANNA did a concert in Brooklyn and a fan "Starkeema Greenidge" got a sample M.A.C. (M.A.C. is a promotional cosmetic company) red lipstick that was endorsed by Rihanna. When Starkeema applied the lipstick on her lips she noticed they were irritated and swollen, when she went to the doctor to check what was wrong the doctor told her she had "herpes". So Starkeema is suing M.A.C. Cosmetics, Inc not Rihanna for damages.
Sad news to tell you about "BRUNO MARS" mother "BERNADETTE HERNANDEZ". She had a brain aneurysm and has died in Hawaii on Saturday. She died at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu at 55 years old and Bernadette was a hula dancer who immigrated from the Philippines who nurtured Bruno's interest in music at an early age.
Another sad death to tell you about is "MISS JEAN STAPLETON" who played "Edith Bunker" wife of "Archie Bunker" on "ALL IN THE FAMILY" from 1971-1979 passed away Friday at her home in New York City. She won 3 Emmys for her role as Edith and I am surprised to have heard that she turned down the role of "Jessica Flecther" in "MURDER SHE WROTE", a role that actually went to "ANGELA LANSBURY" from 1984-1996.
CHANNING TATUM and JENNA DEWAN-TATUM had their first child in London on Thursday where he is filming his new movie "JUPITER ASCENDING". No one has said whether it is a boy or girl.
