This seems to be an emerging phenomenon. I happen to know I'm not the only grand-parent that has been sucked back into parenting. No, I didn't want it; no, I didn't expect it; but what are you supposed to do? Our children are important. They don't need to know that they aren't important in the eyes of heir parent. They'll find that out soon enough. Any other parenting grand-parents in here? Would love to discuss the challenges this brings to what was supposed to be our golden years.
