How much of an age difference is too much?

Usually when I meet someone in person I don't really think about age, because I click with people and then don't think about thier age till later. When I am online though, I am more likely to look at a persons age and then make a decision from there, like whether or not a guy is to old for me.

Does anyone else do this?

I talk to any age online and im quite good friends with a guy who is old enough to be my grandad but i dont think i would entertain him if i met him in the real world!
My partner and i have 5 years between up with me being the oldest and there was a war declared when we got together but were still together now 3 years on so age doesnt really matter!

Personally I don't think that age can turn out to be all that big of a deal if both parties turn out to have lot in common

I think we were having this discussion somewhere else in here, but again, I talk to anybody, regardless of age. There is much to learn from EVERYBODY, regardless of age.
Besides, and this is something everyone needs to think about. Am I a man? Am I a woman? Am I over 18? Am I maybe 85, scouting for a young chick? At this stage no one knows who they are speaking to, only what they have chosen to share. It's only if you take the next step, to email or chat ,with cam that you will really SEE who you are talking to.

You're right Soulmateless, I think a similar discussion was posted somewhere else. I will say when I am online I talk to anybody. Besides, like Soulmateless said, you don't really know for sure who you are talking to. Just because someone tells you they are a 40 year old woman doesn't mean they actually are. They could be older, younger, or even a man.
