Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it: I'm a smoker. It's a terrible habit, I know. I would like to quit, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen anytime soon. When I was in my twenties I used to go out with friends to bars, pool halls, coffee shops and other such places where a lot of people smoked, so it never really used to be an issue. But now, my friends are all married and I have officially retired my barstool. This makes it much harder to meet women who are accepting of my habit, and I'm just wondering how big of an issue this would be to a woman who does not smoke. I've met a few women that I had an interest in lately, but felt reluctant due to the fact that neither of them were smokers. I will eventually quit this nasty habit, but in the meantime I would still like to have some semblance of a social life. My question is basically this: how badly is this habit killing my chances?
