I recently read an article where a high school in the United States was giving out gift bags to all students attending the prom. They likened it to the gift bags that are given to the people who present at the Oscars, only less extravagent. In this gift bag was not one, but two condoms. Do you think it's appropriate for the school to hand out condoms, or do you think this should be something the parents do, if they so choose?
I know times have changed and kids learn about sex much earlier in life, but I think I would like to be the one to give my child a condom. I would want to explain to them the consequences of unprotected sex, instead of them just getting a condom and hoping they use it.
