Very interesting read my hubby is 6ft 2 whereas I am 5ft 0 quite a difference but Its me whos the smallest!

A lot of short guys also develop a short man complex that can make them somewhat difficult to deal with. This is not 100% so I am not trying to stereotype anyone.

This can definitely be an issue for a lot of men, but I have seen some very short men with some very attractive women before, so I don't think it makes as big a difference as some guys might think. I'm about 5'8'', which is not tall by any means, but I have actually dated women who were taller than me! While it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, it does go to show that height does not always factor in.

There are so many things about ourselves that we just can't help. We can't make ourselves taller or shorter and can't do anything about whether our hair falls out, or the colour of our skin. We need to look beyond these outer differences and see the individual, the personality. There are many gems hidden by a rough exterior. Height shouldn't be a factor.

I agree with Soulmateless. We should focus on the actual person and not the appearance. If I were a guy and a woman couldn't get past my height and see the person I truly was, I don't think I would want to date her. Unfortunately, this is just another way that society seems to dictate what is considered beautiful. Women should be thin and men should be tall. What a boring world that would be!
