I would agree with the previous posts on this subject in that going into a date with a strategy is probably not the best idea. Leave the strategy to the generals and head football coaches!

I couldn't agree more. I don't think having a strategy will necessarily work. After all, you can't plan for every possible scenario that may arise. Why not just try being yourself? If that isn't good enough for your date, then you weren't meant to be anyway.

Good point Angel, you can't be prepared for any scenario. I can smell being manipulated a mile away, and I don't take to it very kindly. Why not just be yourself? About the only strategy I'd work on would be my casual communication skills. Have a half dozen topics that you can discuss rationally and have an interesting evening. Everything else will just fall into place.

Yes! That's exactly the best way. It would be so great to just have a man to go out with once in awhile, chat away, have a nice meal. Someone you can be comfortable with, someone who likes the same TV show, darn it. I think what I'm missing about my ex is the way it used to be. It hasn't been anything like the above for a very long time. Here I am, talking about HIM again!
