I think you're pretty right on with your answer here. A lot of men these days are much less afraid to express themselves emotionally than they used to be, however, we usually do so in a slightly different way. It can sometimes be hard to tell though how this might received by women. For some, it is an endearing quality, while for others it still may be considered a sign of weakness. Personally, I have no problem with showing my "sensitive" side. As you said, most men have the exact same fears and anxieties as women and I think the only way we will ever be able to better understand each other is to share those feelings.
