I think if you're looking for a lifelong partner, it's a really bad idea. However, if you just want to cut to the chase and have a little fun with someone who feels the same way, I say go for it! Of course being sure to protect yourself goes without saying, but I don't see anything wrong with being physical if the feeling is mutual. Hey, we're all humans with sexual needs and desires, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
