I think perfect dates happen. I don't think they do if you plan one. Planning anything almost never works out as you expect, because we can't foresee every contingency. Shit happens just as often as not. I've had lots of perfect dates when I was young and single. They were generally with someone I already knew well and it was just like an extension of our friendship. Generally though we liked being friends better than sweethearts and went back to that. Usually. I lost a couple good friends over taking that next step.
Has anyone else found that? That it is very difficult to go back to a friendship after being in a relationship, specially if it was an intimate one.
